John and Haley’s Wedding

John and Haley’s wedding was last weekend in Auburn, Alabama at Kiesel. How to put this… This was probably the most meaningful wedding I’ve been at. For the last few months I’ve been going through a lot of major changes in my life, and being at their wedding was like having a glimpse of what I’m going towards. Pretty cool. Enjoy.

David and Jaime’s Wedding

This wedding was on August 9th at the McCall City Golf Course. Everything was within a ten minute walk of downtown McCall, and about 5 minutes from the lake - which makes it an awesome place for a wedding. And remember how I said they were a portfolio couple? I was right.

Kinney Family Portraits

Today’s update is a family portrait shoot for one of my good friends, in McCall on the lake, along with last weekend’s wedding. I’ve been starting to work with off camera lights a bit more the last few weeks - I’ve finally figured out a setup that’s pretty quick to work with - up until now I just haven’t been quite satisfied with having everything work reliably and be small enough to move with. Now, that’s been taken care of 
You can probably notice a little bit of stylistic change over the past few weeks - I’ve been doing things a little differently since a shoot I did for The Waiting Kind. Basically, I’ve started doing some distinctly layered images, or super-simple compositions with simple lighting. It’s a good kick to be on.
